Waldhausen Sweet Iron Anatomical Water Double Broken Snaffle

The anatomically shaped Sweet Iron bits from Waldhausen are characterised by a mouthpiece that is adapted to the horse"s mouth. Sweet Iron is made of blue steel, on contact with (air) moisture it begins to oxidise and a sweetish brown-grey surface rust forms. This stimulates the horse"s saliva production. They begin to salivate better, which increases bite acceptance.
